Akiyyah Victoria Billups, the visionary founder and CEO of Vital Consulting Solutions, established the company in 2022 to empower individuals and businesses through strategic and operational excellence. A native of Frederick, Maryland, Akiyyah has always had a passion for helping others and a unique talent for viewing problems as opportunities. With over 20 years of industry experience spanning federal, state, and local government, manufacturing (pharmaceutical/biotechnology), non-profit, retail, and more, she has developed a profound understanding of diverse business environments.
Throughout her career, Akiyyah noticed a recurring challenge: many organizations invest heavily in setting up systems and leveraging subject matter experts (SMEs) but often fail to sustain operations according to the established systems and procedures. While such an approach may work in the short term, it falls short of ensuring long term success and growth.
